Invisible Cities
About the Booklet
This typography booklet was designed to create a visual story for chapter 3 of a book called Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino. This book is very descriptive and broken down into sections, each describing a fantasy town with a theme. The typography in this book was influenced heavily by the descriptions of these magical places.
This booklet is heavily type driven but includes graphics and a handful of illustrations that were painted with ink. The booklet is hand-stitched and bound in a style similar to Coptic stitch.
